This car would need a thorough pre- purchase inspection. The modifications don’t look as well done as the seller claims. The seller is also apparently still deep in the hole on a loan on a used car. If they had to borrow money to buy it in the first place, did they spend the money on routine maintenance?

Maybe I’m too much of a cynic, but something doesn’t seem right about this car to me.

I like the style just not the blue. I would either stick with all chrome/polished aluminum, whatever the lips are or black.

Not bad. I’ve seen rough ones around $7,000 but never cheaper for a clean title and isn’t crashed.

Definitely needs PPI and personal look. I looked at a “clean” ap2 last March for $13k. When I got there it had visibly been repaired in multiple spots not shown on provided car fax (mismatched paint, gaps etc) and had a rattly interior. When I did a von search I found a lot more info on it, went from consideration to hard pass real quick.

I think someone has figured out that the market is based on perception instead of reality.  From there the next step is not too be scared into thinks ng things are so bad, or they will be so bad.  I think it all falls apart eventually, I just don't know when.
